Midweek Updates

Lace leaves scarf and bluegina is progressing slowly. I'm on the 12th repeat for lace leaves and about 1/3 way through for bluegina. I've been working on this two projects back and forth just so I won't get bored with bluegina.

One of my exc0llegue that used to sew was so nice to gave me some scrap vintage flower print fabrics when I mentioned to her about my flower pin project. Aren't they lovely? I can't wait to make a new batch.

Yesterday, I went to the craft store to get more beads and saw this beautiful japanese fabric. I didn't buy a lot, only a fat quarter but I guess it is more than enough for a few flowers. Did you notice that pretty pin cushion? Mona gave it to me when we met up for dinner last week. She made it herself and intend to put up some for sale soon. If you're interest, go check out her blog. I'm so glad to finally own a proper pin cushion to keep my blocking pins. Now I can relinquish that ugly soft toy that I have been using for the past two years.
