Late Post
I’m a little slow posting this, but I had a great weekend that was entirely too short. Here’s a quick recap...
Attended two bbqs two days in a row, had lots of wine and margaritas, laugh, chat, play games, ate way way too much, slept past 9 o'clock every morning, no cooking, no cleaning, visited three yarn stores in three days, bought couple of magazines and some yarn (not much, why?) DH was screaming at the yarnstore..."I'm so sleepy! Are you done yet?" Luckily managed to grab a bag of Rowan beads and few balls of 4ply cotton that was twenty percent off. Phew! Lesson learned -- never bring a man to the yarnshop. Next time, He's going to wait for me at the parking lot instead.

I finally finished Cressida on Friday nite. Blocked it over the weekend and I'm getting ready to seam the lace edging.
Here's another DFS progress shot. I didn't get to work on her much this weekend but I'm pretty happy with it so far. No dropping stitches and forgetting yo's. Crossed my fingers. Let me tell ya'll, I can be a lace retard sometimes. Anyways, I'm hoping the lace will turn out nicer and a lot more visible after a good blocking.

I love the Diamond Fantasy Shawl. It will look definately nicer after blocking.
Heh - at least you made it out of there with something before you DH started the whine!
Can't wait to see Cressida!
Anyway, you really have to slow down with the shawl, you'll be done before I even cast on!
Sounds like a great weekend.
Both you projects look so pretty, can't wait to see Cressida.
both projects looking good especially DFS, I just love creamy knits
Wow, that shawl is going to be fantastic.
I am so happy I found your site. It appears we have more in common than knitting! I'll let you know when I complete the "world renound" triple lindee patern!
