Red Ruffle Baguette

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

Who said you have to spend 300bucks on a luxury italian handmade bag where you can make one on your own for less than 20bucks. Mine was not made from special wool, didn't go through any quality control but it came out pretty darn good. Isn't she adorable. I finished this bag in one day flat, about six hours of knitting and two hours of sewing.

I didn't forget to about the snap button closure this time. But did you see something odd about the lining. I have intended to sew the little pocket facing out but after I'm done with the side seams only I realized it was sewn at the wrong side. What a moron! Anyways, it's no big deal and I'm not going to stress about that. It was a fun quick little project that I really enjoy doing. The only thing I didn't like is the hand sewing part.

Gorgeous! I know what you mean about the sewing by hand part! I have a couple of bags that are lying around unfinished because I'm stalled on sewing in the lining. Your pictures always turn out so good too!

It turned out so cute, even with the flub. I really like the lining fabric, so many of the purses that are out now have adorable liners.
