Too pretty! This is the first one I've seen in red. I love that it's so bold and delicate at the same time! Congrats!

I have been stalking you for a while. I must say that you have lots of nice FOs and the photos are simply gorgeous. What camera you use?

Ah! It's beautiful - a glorious shawl in a stunning red!
Stunning shawl! Love the way the little bobbles add texture and interest to the lace fabric. They sort of look like little beads!
Seasilk... I've heard many-a-wonderful things about this. Just one hank? I love the color!!!
Wow, it really did turn out lovely. I love how the lily of the valley stitch looks in the boarder.
Gorgeous color! It really looks nice with the blue and white.
hi, new here, but I just have to say:
GLORIOUS! :)
I am normally not overly impressed with the shawls I've been seeing, not because they're not well done or anything, but because I just don't see myself using one. This one, however, is gorgeous! Maybe it's the color...
Yup, definitely one gorgeous shawl. Love the colorway you chose!
Great job as always, Vanessa!
It is very beautiful in red.
Bee-yoo-teeful! Now, one hank, from Colorsong....is that the regular ol' 400-ish yard hank, or the shawl-sized mega-hank? I have one 400ish hank....and I can do swallowtail??
simply beautiful!
You know...in red and/or in black..that would make a good cape for BATWOMAN! It's cool van. Miss yah!
It's beautiful in that color!
It's beautiful. I'm not really a lace knitter but I'm inspired to try that and I love the colour.
By the way Vanessa did you ever get around to posting your pattern for your Red Ruffle Baguette?
I've looked but can't find it and dial-up is so slowww
I just had a really funny experience. I was looking at the pics of the shawl, and thinking "gee that's really pretty, I wonder if I could do that out of the sea silk I have", then I scrolled down, and saw that was exactly what you used! I guess I can. Yours looks really beautiful. I really love the color.
Gorgeous, Van ;)!
I might have to copy you when I ran out of idea, hehe
love the shawl and the finished cherry! somehow you disappeared from my bloglines, so missed all of your wonderful finished knits!
It looks stunning - particularly in that colourway!
Your knitting is absolutely incredible. I gasp practically everytime that I visit your blog. The photos you take also help - they show your knitting skill to the nth degree.
Love your blog and your knitting!

I have been checking out your blog religiously and I think it's time to quit lurking. Your shawl is just gorgeous!
wow!! absolutly stunning!!
How much of the skein did you have leftover? I've got about a third left after the Lily of the Valley... am thinking of ripping back and adding an extra couple of repeats of the Budding Lace.
