Can you beat me?
I can never be that "one project woman". I tend to get bored easily. I need variaty and constantly fell for pretty things that I saw you guys made. In January alone, I've started four new projects. Well, not including the one I frogged and fail to mention here. As of now, I have about ten things going on. Some big, some small, some gave me so much headaches that I thought about just abandon them. Period. But you know, no matter how many projects I cast on, I think I'm pretty good at finishing them. It's just matter of time, I guess. Slowly but surely they disapeared from the list.
Anyways, thanks for all your generous comments on felted cap. Want to know who took those pretty pictures? She's crafty and got a pair steady hands. Thanks Steph. I had fun hanging out with you girls. Alrighty, enjoy the rest of your weekend everyone. I'll see if I can actually finish something, back to knitting.

WOW - I do believe you have me beat for WIPs!
What beautiful choices you have each day!
You have as many WIPs as I do! What's the pattern for the ruffled scarf?
All your WIPs look gorgeous. Everything, can't wait to see them when they're FOs.
beautiful!
what stitch pattern is that on the lace cardi?
also, what kind of yarn are you using on the endpaper mitts? that blue is gorgeous.
i can only handle 1-2 WIP myself, but that's cuz unfinished projects make me anxious. :)
That's quite a roundup! They all look beautiful :)
These all look like beautiful projects! I truly love them all!
You choose beautiful projects! Looking forward to seeing them completed.
Heheheee, you are *seriously* not a one-project woman! Everything looks beautiful.
All your projects are so beautiful. I have been mostly one project at a time knitting, lately, but I think once this baby is born I will cast on for at least 6 different sweaters at once!
Ooooh, what did you end up getting for the endpaper mitts? Is that Koigu?
Just wondering which sock pattern you are using for the 'ribby sock', I like the stitch pattern in the photo? Great yarn colourway!!!
They're all so pretty, no wonder you had to knit them. I would too, but my brain can only cope with a few at a time :) I can't wait to see the cabled collar sweater. And that lace stitch in pink iso sweet!
You do such beautiful work, Vanessa. Enjoy each and every stitch. You'll finish and if you don't, who's counting? Not I!
They all look beautiful! I don't think I could abandon any of them either.
If I had started those projects, I wouldn't know which one to finish first. They're all lovely to look at: the yarns... and the pictures are good too. What specially gets my attention is the ruffled scarf. What pattern and yarn are you using? It is so RUFFLED!
Goodgawd! If I did that, I would never ever finish!
ps: Love all the yarns featured, btw!
I can see why you have so many projects going on...they're all so beautiful! I especially like the socks!
Your color choices are outstanding. I love the blue + black and the bright pink!!!! Happy finishing!
Wow, what a collection! Great choices...can't wait to see the end results!
Hmmm...I can't decide which one is more beautiful. What a great group of items to be working on!
I especially love the mitts and that soft-and-drapey-looking cable collar sweater. Yum.
Who cares that you're not a one project knitter? (Who is, anyway?) Everything looks fabulous!
So many pretty projects! I wouldn't be able to resist casting on all of them either!
wow! you have a lot on the needles - but I guess variety is a good thing! :) They all look wonderful!
The color of the lacy cardi is beautiful! I can't wait to see that one finished.
I'm the same way! I love having the option to work on whatever I want to. Sometimes you need simple stockinette and sometimes you need challenging!
What a lot of exciting projects! They all look beautiful. I think it's good to have some variety. Can't wait to see the FOs as they come off the needles!
each time I say now I am used to the beautiful things you knit..
but each time you have a wow .. you are the wow factor knitiing blog..
love all the ruffle and and the first. colours are beauuuuutiful..
enjoy.......
Oh, so many projects .... If it is for me, I can stand for it. I usually one or two project at a time for I always change my mind what to knit next.
I am sure you win lots of us, hands down! Pretty projects!
Oh those projects are so pretty. Can't wait to see them as FO! ;)
I can handle too many wips at time, I seem to loose track.
Gorgeous stuff - can't wait to see the FO's - especially the braided V-Neck (looks lovely!), there were a couple really beautiful patterns in that issue!
I'm catching up to you! The latest project is a little stole started in the same shade of KSH! :-)
Girl, they are all gorgeous!! I am afraid to count mine... you go girl!! Your skills are really amazing!
You certainly got me beat. I am a one (at the most two) project girl myself. I think i have issues. I cannot start one thing unless the first one is finished.
And I thought that I usually had a lot of projects on the needles. You have me beat! All of the projects looks so great, I can't wait to see them completed!
Hi Vanessa,
Again, you never cease to amaze me. I started a project in December, but won't be able to finish it for a while (school started up a gain) - so of course, you definitely beat me out in WIPs. I still haven't quite figured out the ruffle scarf pattern - can't understand the Japanese pattern, although I did sign up back in October for a crochet class at Michaels. Thanks again for always posting your inspiring WIPs and finished projects. Take care!
Your knitting is so gorgeous and I can't believe you can keep track of all of it. I can't focus that much on all those projects. I'm trying to keep it down to just 3 at a time.
Holy cow! You are the WIP queen! I'm sure you'll finish them all... I could never do this. I'm trying to stick to my resolution of one FO a month.
You're kntiting such great things, Looking forward to seeing them when they are done!
They are beautiful! What yarn are you using for the ruffle scarf?
I take comfort knowing that there are other people like me ;) Starting projects willy nilly! I love seeing your WIPs! I saw a sample of the ruffle scarf at my LYS - a fun and cute pattern. You have many beautiful projects on the needles. I love your color choices!
I have to have many WIPs at a time. I currently have 7 I believe and all will be finished at some point, but I'm definitely not a one project at a time type of person. My attention span is too short.
don't think I could beat you... but your taste is enviable and I wish I had that much good stuff on the burner :)
Now I know I am normal. :) Which one are you going to tackle first?
Oooh Vanessa, they all look gorgeous! Beautiful colours and interesting textures. x
You have so many delicious wips! I'd love to see a finished Sorrel - the collar is very cool looking.
woah...those are ALL gorgeous vanessa. i can see why you're having such probs with projectus interruptus!
I love the colours you chose for your endpaper mitts as well... beautiful pictures.
Gosh....that's a LOT of WIPs. Guess you'll have lots of gorgeous FOs to show us soon ;)
These are all fabulous projects, it would be hard not to cast them on :-)
beautiful photos and beautiful projects!
I'd go insane if I had that many WIPs, but they all look so lovely. The Sorrel is particularly pretty to my eye -- is that Rowan Tapestry? I might have to give it another look!
