For the love of peachy shibori

shibori scarf

Thanks for all your compliments guys. Hope I didn't keep you wait long for that model shot I promised. After my last post, I received a couple of emails regarding the shibori scarf I made. So, I thought other than sharing my own experience, I'd also share some useful tips that I found online. Some of the scarves are truly amazing, I'm particularly drawn to this. Don't be surprise if you start seeing more felted scarf popping up here. A gratuitious shot just for y'all. Enjoy the rest of your sunday. Let me go sew some buttons now! I'll have a finished project to show you in a few days.

Thanks for sharing. The scarf looks beautiful. Love the steel detail.

I am following the Just Jussi tutorial for my own scarf after getting inspired by yours and Navi's.

Looking forward to your next shibori project!

Beautiful. I love that something so easy to knit can become so intriguing! And I've never seen shibori with laceweight mohair. It's so light and airy... A little bubbly cloud :)

I LOVE the shibori texture. I knew about shibori from fabric dyeing but I had no idea that you can do it with felting too- that is fantastic! I can't wait to finish my wip so I can try it. Your work is beautiful :)
