Thank you so much for all your wonderful compliments on my sweater jacket! I really didn't expect all these words of praise. For those of you who inquired about the pattern, I promise I'll find time to write or may be publish here in the near future. Right now, there's quite a bit on my plate, so I hope you'll bear with me. Moving on, that shetland triangle shawl is almost done. I finally finished the very last row... just a few ends to weave in and some serious blocking. Next, I'm going tackle another work in progress that I started about three years ago. Yeah, did I say three years? I bet none of your knitting project is as old as this. Alrighty, I'm off to block that shawl. Have a pleasant week!

Happy to see it finished! It'll be gorgeous, I am sure.
Have a good week, too!
I really love that color. I can't wait to see it all finished up and pretty. Happy knitting!
Yeah, I have an unfinished project that I started in September of 2001... 6 and a half years ago!!! I've recently decided that I will probably never complete it.
Pretty color!
Lovely yellow!
Lovely colour, we need that sunshine yellow here today! 3 years for a knit? I am not sure mine would stay un-frogged for that long!!
That egg yolk color is wonderful. Looking forward to seeing it blocked.
What a beautiful picture/color/post to see on this dreary rainy day!
...like aromatic saffron... gorgeous
Wow! That's a fantastic colour.
And I bet I have the record for the oldest wip in Blogland. I've got the back of a jumper that I started knitting for my daughter when she was 14....that was in 1985!! It's black mohair - quite scratchy - with blobs of bright colours randomly placed. She changed her mind.
The Shetland Triangle was my first lace project, so I have a special affection for it--yours is lovely!
wow, that color is amazing!
gorgeous color and photograph as always. Can't wait to see it!
Absolutely stunning! I'll be looking forward to seeing more of it!
can't wait to see the result
oh i love this yellow, and actually got the same color in worsted weigh to make clapotis! i can't wait to see you modeling this shawl!
That is a beautiful color! I want details. Yarn? Color? Gorgeous at any rate! Hope all is well with you.
Right now? No. All my wips are much newer than that. Couldn't say that 1-1/2 years ago, though. Back then I had a sweater on the needles that I'd started 20 (yes, 20) years before. I finally frogged it, combined the yarn with some others of similar bent, and made a lap blanket it out of it. LOL
Wow, please post your pattern so we won't have to keep drooling. Also what is that heavenly yarn and color? You are a real inspiration. Thanks for bringing such pleasure to your loyal fans.
oops. I was supposed to post the above under your sweater jacket and I got so captivated with your triangle shawl, that I goofed. Please post your sweater jacket pattern when time permits. Also, what is the yarn for your shetland triangle? Lovely.
I love this shawl pattern, and your choice of color is most excellent.
wow, that colour is fantastic. its so refreshing.
can't wait to see it finished.
Beautiful color on that yarn! I really want it! What is it? :) Can't wait to see the shawl done.
I've just finished a cardi in the exact same color (it's my "good mood cardigan")
Love the color of the shawl. Can't wait to see the blocked version. I also want to chime in on the sweater jacket......it is fabulous!
I probably wrote that before, but I think your blog is a real pleasure for the eye! This is why I tagged you for the You Make my Day Award! Thank you!
I just love your photo! It is just stunning. The color of the shawl looks like spun gold. Enjoy your week!
three years old? that WIP is basically a toddler.
I just discover your sooo nice blog and wonderfull photos, and I think I will come very often to visit you !
this colour is divine!
ohhhh, that YELLOW!
and is the old project the Swing Jacket? because, dammit, if you pick yours back up, that means I'll start feeling guilty about *mine*
i loooove that yellow and i don't like yellow very often.
Did you ever list the yarn and the color? Saw that the question has been asked before and I apologize if you've already posted the answer and I missed it. Thanks!
