coveting

Beautiful type work by Craig Ward - words are pictures...

I came across Elaine Kim while searching for something to wear to a friend's wedding in a few weeks. I really like this eco friendly cupro-cotton dress, but it might be a little too casual, the camellia asymmetric silk dress is also cute. Decision. Decision.

If you going to be in NYC, don't miss the opportunity to see the latest exhibit at the Cooper-Hewitt National Design Museum . The new exhibit Design for Living World is very inspiring. Industrial designer Yves Béhar created a tool for scraping bits of cocoa off the patty; the cocoa shavings collect inside the hollow tool, and when the user turns the instrument over, the cocoa falls into a cup. The user then adds hot water or milk and stirs the beverage with the tool. A traditional Bribri drink. Read more here .

I'll probably look really silly walking around with this big grey bag. But it looks so cool!

I love our Riedel wine glasses but these Italian wine carafe stemless glasses by esque studio are like work of art. If you have time, take a look at their website. Stunning glassware!

You could definitely get away with that dress for a wedding if you made a cute crinoline to wear under it, netting or gauze, although I tend to like them in netting. It'd be super cute, and then you'd have a great casual dress to wear about town/over jeans/whatever.
I would go for the Camellia dress but if your goal is to wear this dress again - go for the grey one but find a super big necklace - that you wear like a work of art... that would change it all...
I really love the grey dress. I think you could probably dress it up for a wedding. Then you would have an amazing dress for normal wear. It is lovely.
The cocoa tool is just way to cool. looks like it would be amazingly fun to play with at the table.
I miss your knitting content, but your pictures are always so beautiful... You have a lot of talent!
I love the dress, so simple and so nicely styled.
The dress is beautiful, but it's the print that really kills me. What a terrific find!
You find the most beautiful things. I think the grey dress is a piece of understated elegance. With my personal sense of style, I would look like I was wearing a sack. But someone more put together would look a million bucks. Depends on how you hold yourself I think.
