it's raining out there

it's raining outside...

some things just can't be fixed when it's broken. for example that roll of polaroid i waited for months -- all the shots came out like they have been soaked in water, ghostly images, faded shades of orange.

i burned the stew again. so careless! i blame the rain.

are you knitting a lot? i miss the feeling when i get excited about a new project...thank you sibylle for her music. so simple so gorgeous.

Stay dry and warm over there... Miss you

Somehow I have actually been knitting a lot while
waiting the last couple of weeks. Really glad I am
taking the Stefanie Japel online class. If nothing
else it got me excited about the shawl!

Hope your projects are going better.

Oh I hate when I burned food I was really looking forward to. I want to be knitting a lot but can't commit, so in the meantime I am working on a gigantic, boring blanket that is all stockinette. I hope things have turned around for you!

I am knitting a lot, actually. I've given myself the challenge of working through my stash yarn, all of it if possible, this year. Are you?
